There is ample parking located at the back of the school and the track is also located at the rear of the school.
Please arrive 15 Minutes prior to session start at 6pm to enable a register and bike check to be take, WF1 5AG

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

FREE LADIES ONLY CYCLE SESSIONS
New to cycling, need a confidence boost, testing out a new bike, trying out cleats or want to get some extra circuit training in? Then come and join us in this mixed ability ladies only FREE cycle session at Wakefield’s new traffic free purpose built cycling circuit.

Come with friends and family or come on your own, you will soon get to know and chat with other likeminded ladies and enjoy not only cycling together but sharing tips and hints to make our cycling life fun.

Located at St Thomas a Becket School in Wakefield (Sandal), the FREE women only rides are ideal if you have not ridden for a while, need to build confidence or simply want to meet like minded ladies and get out riding your bike.

You can do 1 lap or you can do 20+, it is up to you. The friendly female Breeze Champions will be there to give you useful tips and advice, teach basic cycling skills and cycle the circuit with you if you need us to. If anyone wants to go a little faster you are welcome to ride around at your own pace, it is your hour, feel free to use it to suit your needs (please note racing will not be permitted).

All participants MUST wear a cycling helmet. No helmet No ride.
Please ensure:
You wear footware appropriate for cycling such as trainers or cycling shoes.
No flapping trouser legs that may get caught in your bike chain.
Bike lights, the circuit is flood light but it never hurts to be seen better.
It would also be helpful to bring a puncture kit and bike pump.
...and don't forget your water!
