Watchtree Wanderings

We will be riding from Watchtree Nature Reserve on the quiet country roads surrounding it. This ride is ideal for beginners as the area round Watchtree is fairly flat and the roads are quiet. The actual route will be decided on the day and will be dependent on what the ladies who come want to do. We also have the choice to ride on the tarmaced route at Watchtree. After the ride there is the chance to have coffee and cake in the cafe at Watchtree.
We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others.
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather conditions. Please bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket, a snack and a bottle of water. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
This ride will follow all current social distancing requirements and numbers on the ride are limited. I would ask that if you are showing any symptoms of Covid 19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of Covid 19 you do no come on the ride.
