Going up through Burnham to the beeches across Templewood then up to Gerrard's X down to Chalfont St Peter up the other side over the M25 (laughing at the stationary traffic) to Maple cross cycle path alongside the A412 to Moneyhill then into Rickmansworth then off road (Ebury Way) to Watford crossing the canal on the way. After a stop in town we retrace the route and join the canal to Uxbridge/Cowley through Little Britain then Slough arm to the end and then back streets to the start point

A nice paced ride over the Chilterns to Watford which will include some testing climbs (don't worry we will all stop at the tops to refresh and regroup) then a flat ride back along the grand union canal

Mostly quiet lanes with a short stretch of main road some traffic free sections then canal towpaths to return

Stopping at a small "micro" pub in Watford and poss the General Elliot in Uxbridge on the way home

Puncture repair kit/spare tube (others will help) Drinks and snacks for on the bike and money to buy drinks/snacks along the route

We never leave anyone behind
