Watford Cycle Hub: Christmas Eve Countryside Delights (Leisurely Paced Group)

This will be a lovely leisurely ride through idyllic, quiet country lanes with a stop at The Crown Pub at Ley Hill for refreshments and a light lunch if you would like. :)

We will be running two pace groups for this ride. This version of the ride will be paced to average 10-11 mph over the mainly rolling route. There's one really good hill climb challenge up towards Ley Hill so you can feel you've earned your pub stop and Christmas Dinner the next day!

Vikki & Georgia will be your Ride Leaders for this jolly Christmas Eve jaunt. :)

Please bring two spare inner tubes in case of punctures - as changing an inner tube is faster than getting out the rubber glue. The Ride Leaders will happily help if anyone in the group has a puncture on the day. Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new, or recycled ones for 50p patched, £1 with no patches, should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.
