Watford Cycle Hub: Ride to the Flourish Craft Bakery

This Sunday, we're offering a Ride for Everyone to the Flourish Craft Bakery - winners of the Hertfordshire Food & Drink Award 2017 for Best Artisan Bakers! :) Our route takes us out along the Ebury & Abbey Way, then winds up through quiet suburban streets to reach this hidden gem it’s a joy to discover! :)

Whether you want to come along for the ride to enjoy elevenses or a wonderful breakfast, this will be a laid back ride with extended social time to enjoy what this local cafe at the craft bakery has to offer....Check out their webpage and/or Facebook page! :)

This route is great for families with children who can use their gears and want to ride a bit further & for children who have achieved the National Standard for Bikeability Level 2 and are keen to show their parents their road skills! :) It's also a great route for anybody who wants a gentle ride, with fab food and time for a chat.

Please bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture - as changing an inner tube is faster than getting out the rubber glue. The Ride Leaders will happily help if anyone in the group has a puncture on the day. Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new, or recycled ones for 50p patched, £1 with no patches, should you need to purchase one. Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped. You can also come along early before the ride to use our track pump, or we can help get your tyres to the correct pressure for you pre-ride. :)
