Watford Ride - Flourish Craft Bakery, Cheslyn Gardens and Cassiobury Park.

We will catch the train departing at 9.35 a.m. from Hatch End station to Carpenders Park both of these are step free access. There is free parking at Harrow Arts Centre if coming by car. We will ride part Ebury way towards Colne Valley to arrive at Flourish craft bakery for breakfast and then go towards Cheslyn Gardens off Nascot Wood Road for early spring flowering in this beautiful setting. We will ride along the canal path going towards Cassiobury Park from the Grove entrance off Hampstead Road. Optional second stop at Cassiobury Park before we return by train from Watford Underground (steps to take cycle down at the platform) to Pinner station (step free) and bike back to Hatch End station. There is an option to take overground train from Watford Junction (step free) which takes you to Harrow & Wealdstone (lifts available) and onwards. The pace will be steady and we will cross busy junctions by foot.
Please wear warm clothing, gloves and bring oyster card/touch card for train fares both ways.
Do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or are in a home with anyone who has. Bring a face mask for the train. Please ensure your bike is in tip-top working order as I cannot touch it. Pump up the tyres, check the brakes and ensure the wheels turn freely. Road bikes with thin tyres are not suitable.
