Wednesday Community Pedal round Madge

Meet at the Heart of Hawick, pedalling out past Stobs and upwards to Cogsmill, along Earlside, taking a left onto Bonchester Heights. Taking a right, head down towards Denholm, being mindful of the uneven road, potholes and gravel. As you arrive in Denholm, take a right at the public toilets, then a left, left again, and a right at the Cream Puff, heading out of Denholm up Hassendean and back to Hawick along Horsleyhill.

Please ensure your bike is in good working order, your tyres are pumped up and you have with you any spares you may need for your particular model of bike. If you are using an E-Bike, please ensure you have sufficient power and a back-up plan should you have an electrical fault.

Always wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and if you have one, put a light on the rear of your bike. Water or snacks is also a good idea.


This is a community ride for the Hawick Belles Breeze Group and any other women who wish to attend. There are no leaders on this group so please look out for each other and don't leave anyone behind.
