About the route
Heading west along NCR7 to Stanley. Leave cycle route to head up to Casey Arch for a cuppa. & find steam engines!
Then long track down the Tanfield Way to Dunston then join the Team Valley cycle way. Climb up to the Angel of North, then down to Birtley rejoining NCR7 back to Cox Green.
NOTE - not suitable for road bikes!!
