Taff trail and road. Suitable for all bikes. Safety helmet required
Meet Merthyr Leisure village and head off on Taff trail. Taff trail will lead over cefn viaduct, ponsticill viaduct and head to Ffynon Dwn. From here you will meet the road, turn left and continue on to Brecon mountain railway and the reservoir. Continue around to you left and head toward the Red Cow.
Red Cow up the hill and follow Vaynor road past the old Italian house to the old Pontsarn inn. Here you can rejoin the Taff trail by turning in to the car park opposite the old inn and drop down onto the trail. Head back toward cefn and back to Merthyr Leisure centre
