Come and join us to explore some stunning countryside. Starting at Turton Tower (Tower 1) car park off Chapeltown Road we weave our way along the Witton Weavers trail towards Green Arms road with great views towards Peel Tower. (Tower 2 ) At the community memorial forest, we either drop down forest trails or take the quiet road towards beautiful Turton and Entwistle reservoir. (The reservoir!) We take a good track, which brings us onto narrow Edge Lane and the Strawbury Duck country Inn a good place for a rest if required! We head back across the dam wall of the reservoir and climb up Batridge and Green Arms road heading back on the now familiar route to Turton Tower which has a Victorian tearoom, a good place to recover, chat and plan the next ride!
