Parking on Mytham Bridge (on road parking) we will ride on a trail through the woods to join the trail around the back of Ladybower reservoir. From the end of Ladybower we need to join the roads for a while until we get to the Kings Tree, where we re join trails taking us around the back of Derwent and Howden dams. We then rejoin cycle paths and roads back to Bamford and our cafe stop at the Anglers Cafe. From here is just a few hundred meters down the road back to Mytham Bridge.

A mainly off road ride around the three dams of the Upper Derwent Valley.

Mostly paths and tracks with some road sections where necessary

We will stop at Fairholmes Visitor Centre for a comfort break, and then the Anglers Cafe for refreshments near the end of the ride

Please wear a helmet, bring along the means to repair a puncture, a lock for your bike at the cafe stop and money for refreshments. Layers and a waterproof jacket are a good idea at this time of year.

We never leave anyone behind
