Starting point

South Yorkshire
S6 4TE

This is the perfect ride if you have never ridden with us before and gives you the chance to start building up the distance you can ride and the hills you can climb. On each Saturday in August, we'll set off from the start of Loxley Road starts up the steady climb of Loxley Road, past the Nag's Head and to the right of Damflask Reservoir, up a hill and down the northern side to Low Bradfield. Here there is the option to stop at the café, while those who want to can do another lap around the reservoir. On the first Saturday of August we'll aim to do one or two laps, building up to four laps by the end of the month. However many laps you do, we’ll all end up at the café and ride back to the start together. For even easier options you could start the ride opposite the Admiral Rodney on Loxley Road (we will meet you there at about 10:15am; please let us know if you plan to start there). There is also the option to miss out the hill at Damflask by turning left at the start of the reservoir. No-one ever gets left behind on a Wheel Do It! ride and no-one needs to worry about holding anyone up!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
We recommend that all participants wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; we recommend that you also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you and/or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self-reliant. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
