This ride is being led by Tony and Terry, and is for those of you who fancy joining us on a jaunt to the seaside, on a ride with a different twist to what you would usually expect from our lovely hilly routes in and around Sheffield and the Peak District. On this ride we are aiming to fulfil the “ride further” part of our motto, using mostly quiet lanes to Cleethorpes, where we will find seaside treats to sustain us for our return journey back to Gainsborough. Total elevation for this ride is 2597 feet, so as you can see, we are considering hump back bridges as hills on this ride! There will be opportunities to stop and take a break along the route as and when required (you can guarantee we will find a coffee stop as per our tradition, and as always nobody will be left behind (unless you refuse to get off a donkey when its time to leave!)
Come and have some fun and challenge yourself with us!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
We recommend that all participants wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual, we do expect you to have ensured that your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks. We recommend that you carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you/and or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self reliant. Dont forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone, together with a set of lights for your bike.
