S6 4TE

This is a great ride to do if you're new to cycling, are returning after a break or just fancy an easy morning of fresh air and gentle exercise. The ride is the first in a series that will build up the distance and amount of climbing as the weeks go by. We'll set off from just after the bus stop at the start of Loxley Road and head up the steady climb past the Admiral Rodney and on to the start of Damflask Reservoir. We'll then turn left and head along the flat road along the side of Damflask to the Plough Inn (you could also join us here at approx. 10:30am if you want to). We'll then ride up and down the flat side of Damflask a couple of times and adjourn to the Flask End cafe once we're done. Everyone is welcome to ride as far as they feel like, with no pressure to go farther or ride faster than they want to. Whatever we do, we'll take it easy and, as always, no-one will get left behind. A longer Wheel Do It! ride sets off at the same time, so this introductory ride gives new participants a chance to meet that group. I really hope you'll come and join us!
