A ride to the hidden source of the iron ore that led to the success of steel in this area. Please arrive at the start point by 9:45 in time for a bike safety check.

The route is largely flat with just one or two small hills. Mostly along quiet country lanes with some short sections along busier roads.

We will stop for a break at Hall Farm Park.

You will need to bring a helmet to wear, a face mask fro the cafe stop, means of payment and a spare inner tube for your bike.

Everyone is welcome on this ride, as long as you are able to ride this distance at a steady pace.
