Wigan To Worsley Canal Ride

We head out from Winstanleys bikes on Challenge Way down and around the back of The DW stadium , through Wigan Pier , and then out through Poolstock along the canal ,through Leigh to Astley ,all the way to Worsley where we will take the loop line up to the A580 cycle path back to The Old Boathouse for lunch , and then return back along the canal . Winstanleys will be open in case you need any spares or last minute kit .

A nice long potter along the canal ways from Wigan to Worsley and a around the Loopline

one or two bits on roads , mainly canal paths , and a bit of cycle paths

Theres a few photo points along the way on this one , lunch will probably be at the old boat house at Astley .

spare tubes , a pump , a lock , suitable clothing for the weather on the day , money for lunch , also a helmet.

This is a nice ride along the canals , we ride at a nice chilled pace , but please make sure you are capable of riding 35 miles .
