Please bring your spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump (don’t worry about the latter if you don’t have one). A lock is advisable for the café stop.
It is essential that all ride participants carry their own PPE, that is mask, anti bac gel/wipes and tissues. First aid consumables will be provided by the leader but you will need to self-medicate if it is safe to do so.

Ride leaders: Carol Crerar & Lesley Doxsey . Starting outside Luciano’s at Middlebrook. Please arrive 10-15 mins beforehand for a quick bike check and ride briefing. If you have not completed a ride participant form previously for one of the HRS rides, please request one via email [email protected], Facebook messenger or through the lets ride site. Average speed – 8-10 mph Elevation – 850 ft.

Heading off on this popular steady ride, we will cycle from Middlebrook retail park along shared cycle paths, roads and then experience the woodland trails of Borsdane and Amber woods . The café break will be at Haigh Hall. Our return journey is mainly on roads.

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes and if they are a little bit stiff/rusty and you are not sure how to remedy, take it to your local bike shop. They will be happy to take a look. Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride unfortunately.
