Starting point

Renfrewshire
G77 6DT

A brisk ride from Parklands Country Club in Newton Mearns around Fenwick skirting the top of Kilmarnock, this follows a route popular with Glasgow Cyclist's - the Southside Chain Gang loop.
As the weather gets more unpredictable in November, we try to put on the same rides each week to help riders still get out in a group and know what to expect in terms of distance and time if the weather takes a turn for the worse!
There are no planned cafe stops mid ride - please bring your own supplies if you need them. Have your own puncture repair gear too. Please be dressed for the autumn weather. We can thaw out with a coffee at Parklands if needs be!
This is a Challenging Ride, which is great for more experienced riders, allowing them to cover a good distance and conquer some hills in the comfort of a group. Whether you’re in training for a cycling challenge or just want to take your riding up a notch, our Challenging rides are a great place to start.
