Starting from Lyndhurst we’ll head down towards Ashurst before turning left down Woodlands Road. We will cycle through Bartley and on to Minstead where we may see some donkeys and ponies. We will then head towards Emery Down and swing across to Pikeshill which will take us back into Lyndhurst.
This is a nice gentle route through the New Forest with some lovely views. Look out for the fairy door as we head along Beechwood Road!

Winter is coming but that won’t stop us having fun on our bikes! The Winter Wednesday ride is a nice gentle ride around Lyndhurst which takes in some lovely forest roads. It’s the perfect way to get out on your bike over the less than lovely winter months.

We will be mostly riding on quiet forest roads. Between Lyndhurst and Ashurst, we will use the cycle path which runs alongside the A35.

We will stop in Lyndhurst at the end of the ride for tea and cakes to help us warm up.

Make sure you dress for the weather, lots of layers to keep you cosy and warm. Don’t forget some money for the cake stop. All riders are expected to wear helmets.

This is a good route for newer riders who are looking to stretch their legs. We will always go at the pace of the slowest rider and we will never leave anyone behind.
