We Meet at the Beatles Statues at 9.45 prompt.
If you do not have a Merseyside travel pass you will need to pre purchase an all zone saver ticket. (Ferry terminal does not sell them). Train stations and Merseytravel offices.
The ride starts with a ferry ride across the Mersey. IMPORTANT: THE FERRY LEAVES AT 10.00 AM.
The ride then commences from the Seacombe ferry terminal and travels north to New Brighton and then along the top of the peninsular to Hoylake and then a spin down to West Kirkby. We then join the Wirral Way and ride down to Parkgate where we will partake of some refreshments.
We rejoin the Wirral Way and travel on to Hooton. Then it is mostly road back to catch the ferry, this time from Woodside.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, So that we are able to get away at the stated start time
