Wortley to The Oil Can Café, Holmfirth.

This café is well worth a visit for car enthusiasts.

A traffic free route, from Wortley along the TPT to Dunford Bridge, we will then climb up to Winscar Reservoir and over the hill on roads, to The Oil Can Café, near Holmfirth.

Please be aware that there is about 1,700 ft of climb, most of which is between Dunford Bridge and the café (660 ft over 2.5 miles).

Please note that the postcode for this address covers a wide area and may take you to the wrong place. You need to go to the bottom of ‘Finkle Street Lane’ from Wortley, turn right just before the railway bridge and we meet behind the riding stables at Cote Green Farm.

NB: All riders must wear a helmet and follow the safety advice and guidance of our Guided Ride Leaders whilst out on the roads. Please bring a drink, a snack, a spare inner tube, lock for your bike and money for any refreshments you wish to buy at the cafe.
