Starting off from Trawscoed we will follow the Ystwyth Trail - this will take us along a minor road, an old railway line, a singletrack descent and a main road before returning to the old railway line again.
Preferably bring a mountain bike, but suitable for hybrids - but you MUST HAVE GRIPPY TYRES. There are muddy sections and a singletrack descent. But you can always get off and push, this is perfectly fine! A very relaxed pace and hopefully a grand day out.
There are a couple of very steep hills - but again, getting off and pushing is absolutely fine :-)
Some of the sections are also a bit overgrown but perfectly passable - just something to be aware of. I have ridden the route on 20th August and got through ok.
Bring a picnic/packed lunch as we will stop at Cors Caron before turning round - there are toilets, a shelter and picnic benches.
Any questions do please ask me :-)
