    Starting at - We meet at The Pavilion on the Park, at Eastleigh and head out to North Baddesley using the cycle way along Castle Lane, we then we cycle to Belbins skirting Romsey and along Bunny Lane to Furzedown Road and into Kings Somborne where we will stop for refreshments.(Please bring something to eat and drink as the only pub doesn't open till 12) We head back along Winchester Road and onto Farley Mount Road, Sparsholt Road, onto Pitt where we pass South Winchester Golf Course, our route then takes us into Winchester where we will stop for coffee and cake, we then pick up the viaduct trail following the River Test, a chalk stream at that point, passing St Catherines Hill and on to the Hockley viaduct which was part of the Didcot to Southampton railway line, it is now part of The national Cycle Network route 23. We then head along Otterbourne Hill to Boyatt Wood and back to Eastleigh.Ride distance approx. 36 miles., SO50 9LH

  • A Picturesque Ride through the Meon Valley

    Starting at - Come and join us for a ride through the Meon Valley visiting the Medieval Market Town of Bishops Waltham where we have the option to stop for coffee. We will then continue through the country Lanes to Hambledon, home to what is reputed to be the oldest cricket club in the country, we pass by Hambledon vineyard before arriving at our next stop The Old Forge for a light lunch then it’s mostly country lanes through Boarhunt, Curdrige and Wickham back to West End.The route has a few inclines but nothing to daunting and we will never leave anyone behind.Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather, a spare inner tube to fit your bike and some cash for coffee etc, and a lock to secure your bike. A helmet is a advised.Starting point is on the corner of Moorgreen Road, and Botley Road by the park bench. Ride distance is approx. 30 miles, SO30 3JS
