Cycling UK Stevenage - ABC rides

We organise free rides for Cycling UK members. If you are not a Cycling UK member you are welcome to join us for up to 3 rides. After 3 rides you will need to join Cycling UK if you would like to continue to join our led rides, more details about membership at www.cyclinguk.org/join-today 

ABC rides are aimed especially at beginner and returning cyclists - adults of all ages and accompanied children are welcome.

We have regular rides every Saturday morning at 10.30am from the Stevenage Cycling Hub in Fairlands Valley Park.

Our rides are about 6 miles long and make the most of the traffic free cycleway network in Stevenage with a few quiet link roads connecting cycleway sections.

ABC rides are a great way to discover new routes and shortcuts which are useful when making every day journeys in Stevenage.

We discover lots of hidden gems in our town, parks, ponds, woodlands and the old lanes that pre-date the new town but have now become part of the cycleway network.

We do not rush, there is always time to stop at the top of an incline, pause for a photo or have a drink.

Once a month, on the 2nd Saturday, we visit the Farmers' market in Stevenage Old Town High Street.
