We’re on a mission to transform Britain into a great cycling nation. And we need your help to do it.
Our award-winning programmes are encouraging thousands of people to give cycling a go, ride more often, and get a bit fitter – all year round. We now have opportunities for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to get involved with a number of these programmes – from leading rides and inspiring more people to take part, to helping out at our events around the country.
Each role is inclusive and open to everyone but has different requirements – for some we need quite specific skills, and for others we just need willing hands or friendly faces! Different roles will also offer different levels of training, support and benefits. Click the links below to find out about opportunities within each of our programmes.
British Cycling have developed a new plan for volunteers to help support people having the best volunteering experience possible. If you want to find out more information, you can do so here
“Every ride is a great experience. When people thank you for doing it, that’s the best.”
– Breeze Champion
“Often we have participants who are nervous about getting on a bike for the first time and when those people thank you at the end of a ride because they’ve really enjoyed it, it’s particularly rewarding.”
– Ride Leader
