Ride Leicester!

Our goal is to enable fun, safe, inclusive, organised and free guided rides and events as part of the City Council’s Cycle City Action Plan for new and returning cyclists, family groups and underrepresented communities.

Rides/events will take place city-wide using pedestrian priority streets, on-road cycle tracks, off-road paths, canal and waterway routes, quiet roads and event spaces.

All rides will be led by British Cycling trained ride leaders and will be primarily easygoing or steady rides for new and returning cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Rides will take place throughout the average week, across the whole calendar with specific focus on evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
