WHAT’S ON AT HSBC UK LET'S RIDE MANCHESTER

HSBC UK Let's Ride Manchester is more than just a great bike ride. As well as food and drink stalls, and lots of information about how to get cycling in the local area, there are plenty of free things to do for all the family (even those not riding!). Here’s a sample of what’s on offer...

At the start hub, Whitworth Park:

  • Come along and make some noise for the official start at 11am
  • Meet cycling legends Laura Kenny and Chris Boardman
  • Test your skills with British Cycling’s Go-Ride Coaching and Skills Zone
  • Beat the clock and your challenger - roller racing with Hargroves Cycles
  • Need an adapted bike? Try our demo fleet
  • Spin-to-win and bag yourself brilliant prizes


Albert Square:

  • Find out more about how to get involved in British Cycling’s guided and women only rides
  • Find out more about local cycle clubs and community groups


Cathedral Gardens:

  • Danny Butler’s Extreme Mountain Bike Stunt Show performing throughout the day
  • Collect your commemorative event bib and get it personalised with your name or club
  • Let’s Ride participants can test their football skills with a free penalty shoot at the National Football Museum (collect your tickets from Cathedral Gardens Festival Zone)


At special points around the route:

  • Speed into our Sprint Zone
  • Keep an eye out for our friendly HSBC UK Ready Set Ride mascots
  • Live music throughout the day, samba band and Royal Northern College of Music Brass Ensemble
  • Local and tasty food and drink concessions
  • Revolve Manchester will be on the route to provide roving bike repairs, plus Let’s Ride participants can claim 10% discount on future bike services


Bike hire

Don’t have a bike? Find out how to hire a Mobike or take advantage of bicycles from Manchester Bike Hire. Bambino Bikes will also be on hand providing kids bike seats, bike trailers and tag-a-longs for hire.
