This is a social supportive ride and we will support each other to reach this goal. I’m sure a few previous 100 mile riders will join for their yearly goal.

It’s a long day out playing so make sure you have that full day pass and no time constraints.

Pray for good weather, if it’s chucking it down or blowing a gale the ride will have to be postponed.

Come along and peddle into the

The route follows the trans Pennine trail from Sprotbrough all the way into York and is a mixture of disused railways, canal towpaths and quiet roads.

The majority of the ride is trail and quiet roads, and as a bonus is flat.

We aim to have a stop at the station cafe in Snaith on the way there. Then onto York for our 2nd stop and hopefully spend an hour before returning via the same or similar route home. On the way home extra rests may be requested.

It is essential that you keep snacking and drinking on this ride to keep your stamina up so please bring some along. You will need a spare inner tube to fit your bike and tools to mend a puncture. Please wear a helmet. Make sure your clothes are comfortable for the time of year and for the distance of the ride. Cream my be required for skin protection from the sun and also for your long time 8n the saddle.
