It is easily reached by bus from town (no’s 21 and 22 from the Central Station), by bike along Hadrian’s Way, or if you are coming by car, it is signposted from the A6085 and the A695. An easy 9-10 mile route from Newburn to Wylam then on to Prudhoe, and then back on relatively flat off-road cycle tracks along the riverside, with a stop for tea or coffee at the riverside cafe at Prudhoe. It's getting colder out there so plenty of layers, gloves and a waterproof are a good idea. Wear a helmet if you have one but don't worry if you don't - you can still come along. Bring a drink and snack to top up your energy levels if needed, otherwise we can enjoy a hot drink at the cafe! We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Look forward to seeing you there.
