Starting point

LN1 2HB

This is a circular route starting and finishing at Saxilby Railway station (Saxilby is one stop along the railway line from Gainsborough Lea Road station to Lincoln, or alternatively there is a car park at Saxilby railway station). The route is mainly on quiet country lanes and dedicated cycle paths. A coffee shop stop is planned a coffee shop in Lincoln.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied throughout by a parent/guardian.

All riders are required to wear a safety helmet.

Please bring with you wet weather clothing in case it rains, a spare inner tube with a pump and tools necessary to deal with a flat tyre should you pick up a puncture and, if you wish, a drink to have along the way. Please also bring some cash with you for the coffee shop stop.

Route rating

5 stars (2) Reviews

This is a circular route from Saxilby Railway Station making use of quieter roads and traffic free route where possible.

Mainly quieter country lanes with some elements of NCN 64. The ride is suitable for all bike types.

I am planning a lunch/coffee stop in Central Lincoln.

All riders are encouraged to wear a safety helmet. Please also bring along waterproofs in case it rains and some money for the lunch/coffee stop.

First-timers welcome!
