Crummock Water

Come along for a gentle, leisurely ride Crummock Water to Buttermere and back.  Our cycle ride is for new cyclists and beginners looking to meet other women for sociable cycling.  The aim of the day is to have fun, have some "me" time and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Buttermere valley.  The roads are undulating but no major hills and we will ensure that no one is left behind.  If you're interested please come and meet us at the car parking area next to Lanthwaite Green Farm. (If you are unsure of this car park location please contact either of the ride leaders.) We will follow the B5289 along the shore of Crummock Water to Buttermere where we have the option of a cafe stop before returning back along the same route to the car park. The overall cycle time will be an hour maximum but any other time allocated to the ride will allow for introductions and cafe stop. Please wear appropriate clothing for the cycle ride including a waterproof jacket.  We recommend helmets but they’re not compulsory. Don’t worry if you don’t have a helmet. Please bring a bottle of water and a snack. Please ensure your bike is in a road worthy condition prior to arriving for your cycle ride.
