MDCC Breeze does the Tour

Come and join us and the rest of the Mid Devon Cycling Club for this great day. We're going to ride up to Haytor to watch the finish of Stage 6 of the Tour of Britain. MDCC rider Jon Tiernan-Locke was the winner of last year's Tour of Britain and the atmosphere on Haytor was amazing so take the day off work and come and join us. Bring a picnic with you.  We're going to be there a while.  The tour is due to arrive at Haytor at 2.39. It's 9 1/2 mile cycle to Haytor.  Steady climb all the way up to Haytor then it's all downhill for the way home.  This ride is best suited to a Road bike or Hybrid Please bring a drink with you and a spare inner tube (just in case). There is parking at the start of the ride but no toilets.  Breeze are really pleased to be associated with Mid Devon Cycling Club, one of the most successful clubs in the South West, and thrilled that they are supporting this important initiative to get more women cycling.  The Breeze rides will continue to be a nice steady pace but being associated with the Mid Devon Cycling Club will give women the chance to move on to more challenging rides if they so wish.
