Danson Park to Birchwood Golf Club

Not been on your bike for a while? This ride is ideal for beginners and those that haven’t been on their bike for a while. Suitable for any type of bike.  The ride to Birchwood Golf Club will be an 11 mile round trip using mainly quiet roads & cycle paths.  We’ll take the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind and if we encounter an incline we can get off our bikes and walk. There are 2 hill climbs on the way there so you will have earned your cake & the best part mainly downhill on the way back. A great opportunity to meet new friends, have a laugh and build our confidence plus we’ll get to see stunning countryside. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too! Please bring a drink of water, snack, bike lock if you have one and some money for refreshments. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
