Victoria Park Car Park, off Knutsford Road, Warrington

Why not join us for a leisurely ride from Warrington to Dunham Massey via the Trans Pennine Trail? It is a mainly flat, traffic free route, through Latchford, Thelwall, Statham, Lymm and Altrincham to the Dunham Massey estate, owned by the National Trust. It is about 7 miles in one direction, making it 14 in total. It would be perfect for beginners or those who are a but rusty and haven't been on their bikes in a while. We'll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We will have a break for a coffee or ice cream at Dunham Massey before we return along the same route. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack and SUNCREAM as the weather forecast is good. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too! You will need a bike that is in good working order and equipment to fix a puncture should you need to.  Wearing a helmet is advisable but not essential.
