Weston super Mare seafront

Supporting the Lighthouse cafe charity.  http://www.lighthouse-weston.org.uk/ Come and get some fresh air and meet some new people by joining this seafront 3 or 6 mile bike ride, along the promenade.  This ride is ideal for beginners. Our meeting point is the Lighthouse Cafe on the seafront, opposite the pier.  A friendly, informal charity café. Once we’ve checked over our bikes and warmed up, we’ll ride down the cycle friendly promenade - one lap or two (3m or 6m), depending on how the group get on. Route map: http://www.gb.mapometer.com/cycling/route_3176501.html The route is flat.  On the cycle path pavement (not on the road!).  Perfect for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing/nothing fancy – a helmet is advisable, though not essential.  Everyone’s welcome – look forward to seeing you there! It's a good idea to bring some water if you can carry it. Please bring some money to buy refreshments afterwards when we get back, where there'll be time for more chat and a drink or bite to eat at the friendly Lighthouse charity cafe.
