Eros Statue at Sefton Park opposite the aviary cafe in the centre of the Park

Liverpool is full of lots of wonderful parks, this is a steady and short ride from Sefton Park through to the end of the riverside Prom, mostly off road or on quite roads. Starting a 6pm by the Avairy Cafe in Sefton Park.   Route Description Starting at the Eros Fountain, a copy of the one in London, in Sefton Park. The ride goes left past the Aviary cafe, carrying along the main path, when it splits carry on to the left towards Croxeth Drive. When meeting the road turn left to go around the side of the Sefton park, until the Park entrance opposite Livingstone drive, which we cross into, temporarily picking up cycle route 56. To get to the river side prom cross Aigburth road and then carry on straight past St Micheals Station. After the train station follow the path through the small Priory Wood, although it was never a Priory, at the start and end there are styles that we would need to walk through. At the end of the wood, cross Riverside Road into Festival Park. Taking our time through the park, this is just a small part of the International Garden Festival, then on through to the riverside prom, where we turn left. Cycling on the prom straight ahead, past Otterspool park when we get to the end, at the red bull, have a break and then turn around re-trace the wheels through to the end of Livingstone Drive. Crossing the road and going straight through into Sefton Park, past the drive to the bowling club and back to the Eros Statue and a drink at the cafe. Please make sure you bring a helmet, especially anyone under 18 years and also a drink if it.  Younger children must be on a BSA approved child seat fixed to the adult's bike, on a trailer or tag-along bike. Older children on their own bikes must be able to ride confidently without stabilisers. Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
