Clumber Park to Thoresby Hall

This is a steady ride perfect for beginners and anyone who hasn’t been out on their bikes for a while! We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. On our route we’ll have chance to explore the beautiful countryside and we’ll pass points of interest before reaching Thoresby Hall.  We’ll stop for a refreshment break where there are gardens and a market hall to enjoy so please bring some money. Please be ready for all weathers we are in England after all, so appropriate clothing and a cycling helmet if you have one this is not essential but they are for hire along with other items if you wish to do so. Cycle hire is £7.20 for 2hr although there is no need to pre book, if you prefer to 01909 544900 to avoid disappointment. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.  Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Everyone’s welcome - look forward to meeting you Christine ;-)
