Starting point

Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre Bisham Village Marlow Road Bisham Marlow SL7 1RR

This is a lumpy ride that goes out towards Freith. It’s approximately 13 miles, mainly on country lanes around Marlow. Because of the location of the Sports centre we will have to cycle on the Marlow Road and cross the bridge. We’ll meet in the car park for a chat and bike check.  Our route uses quiet roads where possible however there are sections that involve busier roads. Please bring some money for a well deserved coffee and cake. We especially welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Please remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Removable layers are a good idea. Bring a drink of water and maybe a snack to keep you going but we do intend stopping for refreshments.  A spare inner tube/puncture repair kit is also a good idea.   Wearing a helmet is advisable but not compulsory; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.

For more information on other rides please see our Windsor and East Berkshire Facebook page.

Another Ride that maybe of interest is the Dinton Pastures ride or Jubilee River Ride, which are both flatter. Look forward to seeing you there! Jane 07776080575 Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
