Starting from Leverhulme Park we follow the cycle path towards Bury via Elton Reservoir. At the reservoir we cross the canal and the Metro line to get onto the Roch Valley Greenway. Crossing the river using the new pedestrian/cycling bridge at Gigg, we then head South to Heaton Park. A quick lap of the park and café stop, and then it’s over to Phillips Park via Prestwich Clough. Its then south down into Drinkwater Park and then back North over the M60 and up to Radcliff on the Outwood Trail. After crossing Radcliff, we head back Bolton via the cycle path.

Exploring some of North Manchester's Parks.

Mostly cycle paths and quite roads with small section on busier roads. Some sections will be quite muddy so off road tyres are needed.

Café stop at Heaton Park

Please bring helmet, spare inner tube and money for a café stop
