Tysoe tour via Idlicote

This ride takes place through some of the prettiest villages in South Warwickshire, starting outside Tysoe Village Hall, we will head off to Upper Tysoe and out to Honnington, taking a tour thru Idlicote, where we will stop for  drink by the lovely village pond after a fairly steady hill.  A fast downhill takes us thru a pretty ford, where we have another steady hill into Fullready.  We will then return via Whatcote, Oxhill - back to Tysoe.  All roads we will use are fairly small country lanes, but saying that, traffic can be fast on some, so we will have to ride single line in several places along the route. Hopefully the weather will be fine but please bring a waterproof jacket just in case!  I would suggest all riders carry a drink too as our only stopping place will be when we return to Tysoe - where we can sample the famous Carrot Cake at Tysoe Tea-Rooms!!  Please remember to bring some pennies. Wearing is helmet is advisable; if you don't have one please don't worry you can still join us. If you enjoy the ride and want to come again, perhaps you could look to buy one then. This ride is aimed at riders who can or are happy riding 15+ miles at a brisk pace of 11-13 mph.  Hybrid or Road Bikes with smooth tyres are best suited for this ride.
