NB: As it's HALF TERM, feel free to sign up the kids, so long as they can ride at a steady pace, have the stamina for 90 minutes of riding (with a break half way) and manage a distance of 8-10 miles, we'll adapt the ride accordingly. We'll stick mainly on the orbital cycle path and quieter roads with a cafe stop for coffee and cake and a bit of socialising before returning to our start point at CycleStreet. We'll aim to be out for around 2 hours - 90 minutes cycling and 30 minutes cafe break. Wrap up for wintry weather - waterproofs and layers! Gloves are essential, and overshoes a great idea in the rain. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Come and make some new friends and have a few hours out being active. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Please bring money for the cafe stop too. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
