Chesterfield Five Pits Trail

After speaking to my regular ladies, we will be starting off slowly on this slightly harder trail. We will set off from the car park at Grassmoor Country Park and head up the Five Pits trail to Wolfie Pond. Here we will complete the loop at the top of the Five Pits Trail which will be approximately 6 miles in total. The path is surfaced but not suitable for road bikes. It is an undulating route, perfect for those wanting to build up fitness and skill level after completing the Trans Penine Trail. We will start off with a short section and work our way towards the whole length of the trail in the next few months. Unfortunately, there is no cafe for us to have our regular drink stop so please bring refreshments to have along the way.
