Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

Mud Dock Cycle Cafe, 40 The Grove

A 23 mile, women-only ride from Mud Dock to Pill, returning to Bristol via Nailsea and Long Ashton. Chance to stretch the legs in the hopefully spring sunshine, and maybe meet some fellow, female bike enthusiasts! Approximately 50% of the ride is on traffic-free bike paths and majority of the rest of the ride is on quiet roads. Route is available here: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/392531574 Leaving Bristol along the harbourside the route then goes along the Portway on the cycle path, over the M5 before heading on to country lanes around Pill. The route then goes up a long but not steep hill before heading down into Nailsea. In Nailsea we will pick up the traffic free cycle path to Long Ashton via Flax Bourton before heading back to the Mud Dock through Ashton Court and the Festival Way. Tea/ coffee and cake will be on return to Mud Dock. Ride will be at a medium pace, approx 10 -12 mph, so total estimated riding time of just over two hours. No-one will be left behind. Please make sure you arrive 15 mins before start time so we can do a pre-ride briefing and leave promptly. Cycle helmets should be worn, please ensure you have plenty of water/ other drink with you and a small snack. Please bring spare inner tubes.
