Starting point

EX5 3LE

Killerton House, Broadclyst, Near Exeter. Meet outside the Discovery Centre.

Love to rediscover the fun and freedom of cycling? Haven’t been cycling for quite some time or a bit wobbly? This ride is perfect for those getting back on their bike after some time off or those who feel a little wobbly. Come and join us for an easy breeze along the Killerton to Broadclyst cycle path finishing at the 200 year old working water mill, Clyston Mill. Most of the ride is on traffic free path and I have yet to see a car on the few lanes we do cycle on. On arrival at the Mill we will stop for a cream tea – there will be a cost of £3.00 for those who would like to indulge! I will need to know numbers in advance for the cream tea so will contact you prior to the ride. Alternatively we can return to The Stables cafe for refreshments. Mountain or hybrid bikes are best for this ride. If you don’t know what your bike is then it’s probably perfect! Member of the National Trust? Bring your card and take a peek at the newly launched “Nature of Fashion” exhibition at Killerton House. (Non members who would like to visit the house can do so for £10.60); Hope to see you there, Nicky and Sandi xx
