Village Centre car park Rogers Lane Stoke Poges SL2 4HY

Two circuits around the newly sign-posted cycle route, first anti-clockwise then clockwise, 7.6 miles in total. Meeting point is the Village Centre car park, Rogers Lane, Stoke Poges. Stoke Poges is an historic village in South Bucks, famed for inspiring Thomas Gray to write his 'Elegy Written in Country Churchyard'. Our route passes 25 listed buildings. The route follows mostly quiet semi-rural roads, however there are two roundabouts which can be busy, so riders must be able to demonstrate good cycle control and confidence around motorised traffic. On our second circuit there will be a refreshments stop at Pinewood Nurseries' cafe with the opportunity to browse in their farm shop. Organised by The Laughing Group, social cycling club. www.bucksinfo.net/laughinggroup
