Weymouth and the Rodwell Trail

Get some fresh sea air and meet some new people by joining this gentle and fun. Our meeting point is Radipole Junior Primary School – the nearest train station is Weymouth, an 8 minute ride away, or you can park at the school. Once we’ve checked over our bikes and warmed up, we’ll ride out on along the Rodwell Trail passing beautiful Dorset countryside and making the most of the stunning sea views. Please bring some money as we’ll stop for coffee and cake or ice cream if the weather is hot! We’ll stop for plenty of breaks and we’ll ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. This ride is perfect for beginners and anyone who’s not been on a bike for a while too? We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.  Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential. If you have a spare inner tube great please bring one along but not to worry if you don’t.  It’s always good to take a few layers to cope with our British weather, a waterproof is always advisable.
