Breeze South Ham Introduction To Group Riding for ladies aged 50 years +

Breeze is a ladies only network of cyclists of all abilities who just love to get out with others and ride their bikes. We welcome riders of all abilities and are running a series of rides for ladies over 50 (approx). These are suitable for those who wish to gain more confidence or learn local safe cycle routes. If you have a bike and would like to ride a bit more than you do at present, then these ride will be ideal! Whether you are looking to get fit, just want some fresh air and to improve your wellbeing, or would like to meet like-minded ladies on their bikes, then this is a series of rides for you. This series of rides will run for 10 weeks, every other week, starting on 1st November 2014, and continuing into the New Year. There will be a break for Christmas and the New Year when you will no doubt be busy with celebrations and the school holidays. We will start off as always with a gentle ride on cycle paths around South Ham and town. We will go at the speed you are comfortable with and no matter how far you have ridden in the past, we aim to get you going further! You can always ride further if you want to after the group ride! My name is Lynn and I will be your leader every week and will develop the routes according to those joining us each week. You do not have to commit to every week but I would like to see you enjoy yourselves regularly if possible. We will ride in all weather, and don’t worry if it’s really bad - we will head for a coffee somewhere and just chat about riding and bikes!
