Starting point

HA5 1SS

Bottom of Deane Croft Road opposite Eastcote library

A ride through Pinner farm to Stanmore via quiet roads, bridle paths and cycle paths. We shall then cycle through the woods past Bentley Priory, the path is concrete but narrow in places and covered in leaves at the moment. There are 5 or 6 challenging kissing gates to go through which are narrow and involve lifting long bikes like mine up onto the back wheel, so we can help each other out. The deer can be seen at this point. We end up at Common road in Harrow Weald, where we shall cycle down the hill to The Hare at Old Redding for a coffee. From the Hare it is about 5 miles back to Eastcote, cycling on the shared pavement down Brooks Hill to Harrow Weald, through the back streets to Headstone Lane then we cross back via Pinner farm into Pinner and onto Eastcote. Off road tyres required due to the terrain. Please bring a bike lock, a spare inner tube and some cash for when we stop.
