Farmers Market's - Brixton and Herne Hill

We will meet at Furzedown Rec opposite Longstone Road and go from there through the common, we will go at a gentle pace to suit all riders. This is a gentle ride via the back roads to Brixton Farmers Market. It opens at 9:30am and we should get there around 10am. We can then spend 15 mins shopping, perhaps have a cuppa and a cake, and then cycle back via the Herne Hill Market and through Brockwell pa This ride is around 4 miles either way, through the common and along a quiet side road to Brixton High Street near the Body Shop. We will then walk across to the market and visit the stalls which usually include organic herbs and greens, farmers local fruits, cheeses, meats, fish, global fusion bakery depending on the day. We can then cycle back together up the back road to Herne Hill market Another look around there and back through the park. Make sure you bring a pannier, basket or similar to store your purchases when riding.
