Coventry War Memorial Park

This is a gentle ride for those wanting to build up their confidence on the bike on a pleasant route which loops through the university. Starting from the Park & Ride in the Coventry War Memorial Park, we will take the cycle path along the Kenilworth Road, loop through Warwick University, cycle through the Cannon Park estate and rejoin the cycle path on the Kenilworth Road. It is a gentle route, largely on cycle paths with small on road sections restricted to quiet roads. There is one quite steep section and the rest of the route is quite flat. Cycling helmets are adviseable, but not compulsory and you may want to bring a drink and some money for refreshments. It should take no more than an hour and we can have coffee in the cafe in the Memorial Park following the ride.
